- Squarespace hosting — paid separately to Squarespace after launch (typically about $22–$55 CAD/month, billed annually). Not included in the project price.

- Essential packages typically launch in 3–4 weeks. Professional packages take 4–6 weeks, and Premium projects run 6–8 weeks. Timelines depend on how quickly you provide content and feedback.
- Do you require a deposit?
- Yes — projects start with a 50% deposit to reserve your spot and begin design work. The balance is due at launch, before the site goes live. I'll outline payment terms clearly in your proposal.
- Do I own my website?
- Yes — once the project is paid in full, you own your website, domain, and all design assets. Your Squarespace account stays in your name, and I provide full access credentials plus a handoff walkthrough so you're never locked in.
- What do you need from me to get started?
- Your logo (if you have one), brand colours, photos, and content for each page. Don't have copy yet? I offer copywriting as an add-on, or I can work from bullet points you provide during our discovery call.
- What platform do you build on?
- Squarespace. It's a professional, widely used platform with reliable hosting, strong security, and an editor you can use without code. I handle custom design, setup, and launch — you keep full ownership of your account.
- Is hosting included?

Most service business sites use the Core plan at about $32 CAD/month when billed annually. I recommend the right plan during our discovery call and set up your account at launch.
- Can I update the site myself after launch?
- Absolutely. Every site is built on Squarespace so you can edit text, images, and blog posts without touching code. I include a training session at launch. Care plans are optional — they're there if you'd rather have me handle updates and small changes month to month.
- Do I need a care plan?
- No — care plans are optional. Many clients are comfortable updating their own site after launch. A plan makes sense if you want someone on call for content changes, plugin-style add-ons, or peace of mind without adding to your plate.
